Planet  Xardon

Earth's solar system is located within the outer reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy which is a spiral galaxy. The Milky Way Galaxy contains roughly 200 billion stars. Most of these stars are not visible from Earth. (Terra) Almost everything visible in the sky belongs to the Milky Way Galaxy. The planet Xardon is 50 million light years away located in the Virgo Cluster.

The sun is about 26,000 Light Years from the center of the Milky Way Galaxy which is about 80,000 to 120,000 light-years across and 7,000 light-years thick. Terra is located on one of Milky Way's spiral arms outward towards the edge. It takes the sun and our solar system roughly 200-250 million years to orbit once around the Milky Way. In this orbit Terra and the rest of the Solar System are traveling at a velocity of about 155 miles/sec. (250 km/sec)

To reach the planet Xardon starting from Terra, one must aim toward the Virgo Cluster. The distance from Terra to the planet Xardon is 50 million light years. To man a primitive spacecraft from Terra it would take a Terra spacecraft moving 40,000 mph approximately 75,000 years to reach Xardon. However, a Vox starship will arrive on planet Xardon in less than one Terra year.
